- For the record: Tony Hoare stated in his speech on reception of the
- Turing Award that there was no such option on one of his first Algol
- 60 implementations. Before a second try, they asked their customers
- (somehow a pre-Ada community?) whether to add this switch... The
- answer from all customers was _NOT!_
